A rewild experience

One of our core principles is inspiring and encouraging visitors to connect with a new circular lifestyle. Here you will naturally become aware of things you don’t usually think of consciously, and you will learn by doing: how to grow crops for example and use the natural cycles of the moon. How to save rain-water and re-use it. How to make natural dishwashing liquid or build a fire. How many jars of honey are produced by a bee colony. During your stay you will discover self-sufficiency is a lifestyle that benefits everyone and everything in the chain; from people to planet.

Growing into a healthy relationship with the earth

Whilst working closely with nature, we regenerate 41 acres of land and forest into a self-sufficient sustainable Wonderland. Our farming principles increase biodiversity and enrich the soils. Water is a crucial element. We apply permaculture methods to manage the water flow. Moreover, we are fully solar-powered and are entirely independent of all external energy supply systems. We use different design systems to accomplish our goals. Restore and inspire yourself at PIU on how you, your children and future generations can lead healthy, abundant and happy lives!
