Preparing for sleep

We can arrange a drop off service from Barcelona Sants train station. We will meet at the train station and we will accompany all rebels to the end stop of the R2, St. Vicenç de Calders. The car will be parked to drive the last 25 minutes to Masia Piu. For the Pick-up we recommended you to come to the camp. The children would love to share their stories and friends and show where they stayed away from home. If it is impossible to pick the rebels up, we could discuss a solution to take them back home. Get in touch with us.

After a confirmation and before the camp starts, Sunday afternoon we will be waiting at 15:00 at the train station of Barcelona Sants. Right before the entrance of the McDonalds on the side where the buses stop.

The camps include ‘mostly vegetarian’ breakfast, lunch and dinner. All day drinks and healthy snacks. All day programs and materials. Also, tickets for the entrance to the Masia. Transportation is excluded.

We serve vegetarian, healthy, simple and child friendly food. We decorate meals with herbs and eatable flowers from the wild. We make it look interesting so that kids would love it. We say yes to ice-cream sometimes too (if not preferred, we keep that in mind for the rest of the group.) Water and tea will be the first drink, sometimes a grenade. We prefer every rebel to bring their own water bottle, so everyone can fill it throughout the day. We are cooking most dinners with the children so they can be involved in the process of making the food they’re going to eat. For example: soup/pizza/bread/pasta/fruit salad/smashed potatoes..

We also have a wood-burning stove inside, so we can still bake. We will make the best out of the rain, so we will ask our rebels to bring boots to explore water streams.

On hot summer days, we could go on a fieldtrip to a large swimming pool situated 10 minutes from our house. We will also stay in the forest where the temperature is much nicer… We have different areas of shade where we could keep the work and the fun going on.

We welcome all visitors at the camp. Nevertheless, we encourage you to allow your child to adjust to the program and make new friends before visiting. When you visit us, be prepared, because you may be asked to participate in any of the activities we have planned for the day! We invite parents to join us to play and have fun with the children instead of talking with the adults.

Piu Rebels should wear comfortable clothing and shoes to camp. For sports camps, it is recommended that they wear athletic shoes each day. During the day it can be hot and in the evening chilly, so bring a sweater for the night. Some extra bambas would be nice in case the other shoes got wet. Bring flipflops for entering the shower.
